| Since necruta havent made lesson 3, and Lasen havent accepted/become a teacher i'll be posting this week's lesson, so this week lesson will be Flip eff, as some o you may know my Flipping tanukits deck is based on flipping eff and cant start a combo without Flip eff, ok then Enjoy the lesson!  .What is Flip?To flip is to change card from face down to face up position, Players are not allowed to flip a face up card face down, Except through card eff.
What is Flip eff?Flip eff is an effect that actives when the monster is flipped, to get FLIP eff we must first set the monster that have flip eff from our hand, there are some crads that can set a card from deck,etc, Here are the examples:FLIP: You can Special Summon 1 Level 3 or lower Beast-Type monster from your Deck in face-down Defense Position.
When this card is Normal Summoned: You can Special Summon 1 Level 2 Beast-Type monster from your Deck, except "Tanukit Ponpoko", in face-down Defense Position. You cannot Special Summon any monsters during the turn you activate this effect, except Beast-Type monsters.When an opponent attack a face down cards we dont get damage because it's in defense position why do we didnt get damage? well duh it's said DEFENSE position that's means we're defending.Ways of flipping monsterThere are ONLY four ways a monster can be flipped-Through Flip summon-Through Card eff-Through battle-Through position changesDoes flip eff works good?Some of them yes and some of them no, and it depends on your deck, if your deck is Lightsworns that mill use Ryko, If you're deck is beast flip(Like my Flipping tanukits) use tanukit tantan.Flip eff is fun to used, sometimes we can troll people with flip eff xD, ok now do you enjoy the lesson? i think no xD, sorry if this lessons arent that good, i've been busy lately so icant make detailed lessons.ok for this week assignment is build a deck that based on flip eff, and use the deck in a duel you dont need to win the duel just show a combo that have a connection with Flip things you'll get about 200-400 DP the more powerful your combo is the more DP you'll get.For this week extra assignment is Won a duel with your flip deck you'll get about 100-150 DP.Have a nice day and goodluck! .This lesson will be end in wednesday.Your teacher,Rakhalix

| you need to post you dueling with that deck, you cant get DP if you didnt take the screenshot of the duel. |

| Well I'd like to elaborate on what rakhalix typed about flip effects and the timing of their effects for those who don't know. Flip effects resolve the time they are fliped except in the battle phase, there they will activate and resolve and at the end of the damage step (thus after the battle has taken place) THEN the effect will resolve. So for example you have a set penguin soldier (FLIP: You can target up to 2 monsters on the field; return those targets to the hand.) When it's attacked it will flip face-up before the battle has resolved but it's effect will resolve after the battle has resolved and thus is already declared destroyed while still on the field and thus you can not target himself as a target. Then there are also flipped face-up effects and those are essentially the same however cards like shadow of eyes will NOT negate their effect since they aren't FLIP effects. |
