I like water a lot, so I guess that would be my first choice. However, Wind has a lot more potential. Here's my thought process: Wind gives you wind powers. But if you master the element, you can use pretty much any other element you want. By mastering Wind, you can make it rub itself, thus making static, thus giving you access to lightning. Also, friction can create fire, thus granting you pryo-kinesis. If you want to be really technical, Wind control means control over any sort of gas. IF said is true, then you can literally remove the oxygen from the air around your enemy, thus making him suffocate.
